Drywall contractor software: from quantity worksheet to paid invoice
QuickAdmin lets drywall contractors turn a quantity worksheet into a priced estimate and then into an invoice, with job photos and payment status on the same job. It builds estimates from the area and rates you enter; it does not read plans.
Updated: . Plan limits follow the published pricing.

Who this is for
Drywall hanging, finishing and repair crews that quote by area or by room, add change work after the walls are open, and want to stop re-entering the same lines on an invoice.
Scope to settle before you price: Distinguish quantity takeoff from pricing. Record wall and ceiling area, board specification, finish level, waste, access, labor, and cleanup.
A quantity worksheet should explain sheet size and waste before the estimate applies labor, overhead, and profit.
What you can do in QuickAdmin
Every row is a capability on the published plan lists. Higher plans include the access of the plans below them.

Worked example: board quantity with waste
Fictional room set. Takeoff gives a quantity; pricing comes after. Confirm sheet size and your own waste history before ordering.
| Line | Basis | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Net board area | After openings | 1,200 sq ft |
| Sheets without waste | 1,200 ÷ 32 sq ft (4×8 sheet) | 37.5 sheets |
| Waste allowance | 10% assumption | 41.25 sheets |
| Order quantity | Round up | 42 sheets |
| Board cost | 42 × $14.50 (fictional price) | $609.00 |
Labor, access, cleanup, overhead and profit are separate lines in the estimate. Do not add overhead twice if it is already inside a loaded labor rate.
Limits to know first
- QuickAdmin does not measure walls or ceilings; quantities come from your takeoff or the free materials list tool.
- Photos and documents on jobs need Advanced; change orders need Premium.
- The cost example is a fictional worksheet, not a local price list.
Estimating records do not replace engineering, code review or professional judgment on the job.
Check it yourself
- Test on a real job with the Free plan: 6 estimates and 3 invoices per month, one user, two jobs, no payment details needed.
- Download the drywall cost example (CSV). The sheet uses fictional quantities and rates; replace them with your own quotes.
- Compare every limit with the pricing page and the features map before you pay for a plan.
